Opal said hello to this world in September 2014 and became the center of Kate & Jon’s world in June 2015 when she was adopted from a family in Everett, WA. Despite her standoffish appearance, her softer side showed through and she quickly snuggled into their hearts. She’s a quiet lover, but if you stay long enough, she’ll curl up on your lap. Her favorite places in the house are her giant Cabi box in the living room and her second story window perch that watches over the street. (Don’t make any false moves – Opal will see you!) When you come over, be sure to bring her favorite treat, Cat Man Doo!

After a couple years, Kate decided that Opal was lonely and needed a friend. (Opal silently disagreed.) So, just before Thanksgiving in 2017, Jasper was brought home from NOAH in Stanwood, WA. Born in 2017, Jasper is also a September baby (just like Opal and Jon). Though he may be young, he’s growing up quickly and is full of energy. And he loves to be a troublemaker! Whether it’s torturing his sister, crying for more food, or constantly being underfoot, Jasper loves to cause problems. But to make up for it, he cuddles up with Kate every night on the couch.
